In all honesty, he could receive a deal closer to three years, $50 million and nobody would really bat an eye. Though he was bad in 2023, the righty was great in 2022 and 2024. There’s no reason a team like the Cincinnati Reds wouldn’t take a shot on him for $50 million.The biggest hole on the Reds roster may be a right-handed outfielder. Cincinnati recently acquired Gavin Lux to use in a super-utility role. But Lux is a lefty just like a majority of the Cincinnati outfielders.Adding somebody like Profar would be huge for Cincinnati. The Reds could slot him in the outfield as an everyday player would be a huge boost for the team.Cincinnati brought in Terry Francona as the new manager. The team has done nothing but move forward since adding Francona.
