In a legal battle over the estate of Manhattan real estate billionaire Allan Goldman, his son Steven Gurney-Goldman is facing pushback from Natalia Vostrikova, who claims that he should be barred from receiving a share of his father’s fortune. Vostrikova alleges that Gurney-Goldman made false accusations in an attempt to cut her out of the will, going against Allan’s wishes. Allan Goldman, who was the son of real estate tycoon Sol Goldman, passed away in Russia at the age of 78 after battling Parkinson’s disease.
Gurney-Goldman filed a lawsuit in 2022 accusing Vostrikova, who was also Allan’s lover and caretaker, of neglecting his father while he was in a “severely deteriorated” state with multiple health issues. He claimed that Vostrikova left Allan alone in a five-star hotel in Moscow while living a luxurious lifestyle at his expense, suggesting that she neglected him in order to expedite his death and inherit her $2 million portion of his estate sooner. Vostrikova maintains that Russian authorities have cleared her of any wrongdoing in Allan’s death and is seeking to have the case dismissed.
Court records indicate that Allan Goldman left an estate valued at a minimum of $250 million, including a 25% interest in his father’s company, Solil Management, which is estimated to be worth $12 billion. Gurney-Goldman’s attorney argues that Vostrikova has not been absolved of responsibility in Allan’s death and asserts that his client is fulfilling his fiduciary duty as the executor of his father’s will by pursuing legal action against her. Vostrikova’s claims that Gurney-Goldman should be disinherited as a consequence of his actions are described as unfounded and without merit.
Despite the ongoing legal feud between Gurney-Goldman and Vostrikova, the latter’s lawyer, Kian Khatibi, affirms that the two had a genuine and caring relationship, emphasizing that Vostrikova was both loved and cared for by Allan. Additionally, Vostrikova argues that Allan’s estate should not be used as leverage in the dispute and that the court should not entertain Gurney-Goldman’s attempts to prevent her from receiving her rightful inheritance. Whether Vostrikova will succeed in having the case dismissed and secure her financial claim to Allan’s estate remains to be seen as the legal proceedings continue.
