rewrite this title Jay-Z files to dismiss ‘cynical and calculated’ rape lawsuit after denying accusations

Jay-Z has filed to dismiss the rape lawsuit that was amended to include his name.

According to court docs obtained by Page Six Monday, the “99 Problems” rapper, born Shawn Carter, claimed Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee has created an “extortionate campaign” against him for the past few months.

“That campaign was cynical and calculated to force payment of an exorbitant sum of money—Defendant would have to pay X millions of dollars irrespective of the truth, or else,” the doc reads.

“When Defendant refused to pay and instead took measures to establish his innocence, this unnamed Plaintiff and her self-promoting counsel (whose name has been splashed across headlines and press conferences under auspices of representing her) went to extraordinary lengths to shut down fair defense.”

Jay, 55, claims Buzbee has “leveled baseless allegations” against him while “hiding behind the pseudonym ‘Jane Doe.’”

“These claims are not about justice for victims. Nor are they about giving victims of sexual violence a voice,” the filing reads.

“Instead, they are merely the next chapter in Attorney Buzbee’s sprawling extortion saga—a saga whose aim is base and measured in dollars.”

The dad of three asks the court to deny the plaintiff’s motion and for her identity to be “disclosed immediately” to the public.

As an alternative, Jay also wants the court to dismiss Jane Doe’s civil lawsuit against him “for lack of subject matter jurisdiction due to the plaintiff’s lack of standing.”

“Plaintiff has provided no evidence—no affidavit, declaration, or specific factual support—to establish the kind of severe harm necessary to justify pseudonymity,” the doc reads.

Page has reached out to Buzbee for comment but did not receive any at the time of publication.

On Sunday, the plaintiff amended her October rape lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, to include Jay’s name as the male celebrity who also allegedly raped her.

According to the suit obtained by Page Six, the woman, who was 13 at the time of the alleged crime, claimed she was taken to a house party in New York on Sept. 7, 2000, following the VMA Awards.

The victim said she began to feel “woozy” after consuming a drink at the party and went to lie down in a bedroom.

In the suit, the woman claimed that both the Bad Boy Records founder and Jay entered the room before the latter removed her clothing and held her down while Combs allegedly raped her.

She then claimed that the Roc Nation founder also raped her.

While the alleged crimes were occurring, an unidentified female celebrity watched.

On Sunday, the “Empire State of Mind” emcee vehemently denied the “heinous” rape allegations and slammed Buzbee for attempting to “blackmail” him.

Jay also said he was heartbroken that his wife, Beyoncé, and their three children — Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7 — have to deal with this situation.

“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” he told Page Six in a statement, referring to his eldest child.

“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.”

In a statement to Page Six, Combs’ legal team said: “This amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are:  shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.

“As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor.”

The “Act Bad” emcee is behind bars in a Brooklyn, NY, detention center after being arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and his trial date is set for May 5.

Combs is also facing several other lawsuits accusing him of a range of crimes, including rape and sexual assault.
