A fire broke out in an empty lot in Başpınar Neighborhood, located in the Altındağ district, in the late hours. The fire started in the wooden pallets stored in the area where the wooden pallets were stored.
The flames spread to the neighboring house due to the influence of the wind. Upon the report of the fire, a large number of fire and police units were dispatched to the scene. While the police took security measures in the surrounding area, the firefighters intervened in the fire.
Due to the fire, the area was covered with dense smoke. After the intervention of the teams, the fire was brought under control, but cooling operations are still ongoing.
It was learned that 2 people in the house where the flames spread managed to escape before the fire grew. An investigation has been initiated regarding the cause of the fire.
