Another Netflix title, “Time Cut,” follows teenager Lucy Field, played by Madison Bailey, as she travels back in time to solve her sister’s murder. Smoove, is a retail competition show where entrepreneurs compete to impress celebrity judges like Gwyneth Paltrow and Tony Hawk. Disney Plus will release “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” a sequel/spinoff of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” starring David Henrie and Janice LeAnn Brown.

In “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” adult Justin Russo helps a young wizard named Billie control her powers. The show features guest appearances from original cast members Selena Gomez, Maria Canals-Barrera, David DeLuise, and Jake T. Austin. Paramount Plus will stream “Ezra,” a film starring Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne, and Robert De Niro about a struggling comedian and his son with autism. Peacock will release “Despicable Me 4” on Halloween night, featuring Gru and his family as they try to escape a French supervillain. Viewers can expect plenty of Minion hijinks in this sequel.
