Starting from 2025, there will be an additional weekly draw of the Lotto and Superenalotto games in Italy. This is a new rule included in the government’s economic plan, making the fourth weekly draw a permanent fixture. If the extra draw falls on a holiday, it will be postponed to the next weekday, or in exceptional cases, it may be moved to the previous weekday with a decision from the Customs and Monopolies Agency. The expected revenue of 50 million euros annually will be allocated to the National Emergency Fund.

This change in the schedule of Lotto and Superenalotto draws aims to increase revenue for the National Emergency Fund. By adding an extra draw each week, the government expects to generate around 50 million euros per year. The decision to make the fourth draw a regular occurrence is part of the larger economic plan of the government, which seeks to allocate more funds to handle national emergencies effectively. The additional draw will provide more opportunities for players to win and contribute to a noble cause.

The new rule regarding the Lotto and Superenalotto draws starting from 2025 also includes provisions for how to handle the extra draw on holidays. If the additional draw is scheduled on a holiday, it will be moved to the next working day. In exceptional cases, it may be rescheduled to the previous weekday, based on a directive from the Customs and Monopolies Agency. These measures ensure that the new weekly draw operates smoothly and efficiently.

By making the fourth weekly draw of Lotto and Superenalotto games a regular occurrence, the government is taking steps to secure funding for national emergencies. The expected revenue of 50 million euros per year from the additional draw will be a significant contribution to the National Emergency Fund. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to addressing unforeseen crises effectively and providing support to those in need. The changes in the draw schedule reflect a strategic approach to fundraising for critical situations.

Overall, the addition of a weekly draw for the Lotto and Superenalotto games starting from 2025 is a positive development for both players and the government. The increased revenue generated from the fourth draw will support the National Emergency Fund and help to tackle unexpected crises more effectively. The decision to make this change in the draw schedule is in line with the government’s economic plan and demonstrates a commitment to allocating resources to important national causes. With these changes, players can look forward to more opportunities to win while contributing to a worthy cause.
