Metro Boomin’s “Heroes & Villains” won Hip-Hop Album of the Year, and Lil Durk ft. J. Cole’s “All My Life” won Hip-Hop Song of the Year, with Drake being named Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.
In the R&B category, SZA’s album “SOS” won R&B Album of the Year, while her song “Snooze” won R&B Song of the Year. The Latin Pop/Urban Song of the Year went to Shakira and Bizarrap for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” Yng Lvcas and Peso Pluma won Best New Artist (Latin Pop/Urban). Stray Kids’ album “5 Star” won K-pop Album of the Year, and FIFTY FIFTY won K-pop Song of the Year with “Cupid (Twin Version).” Jack Antonoff won Producer of the Year, and Ashley Gorley was named Songwriter of the Year.
Socially Voted Categories included Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, Best Fan Army, and Favorite Tour Photographer. Taylor Swift won for Best Lyrics with “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version),” and Olivia Rodrigo won Best Music Video for “vampire.” BTS Army won Favorite Fan Army, Gracie Abrams won Social Star Award, Joshua Halling won Favorite Tour Photographer for Louis Tomlinson, and “j-hope IN THE BOX” won Favorite On Screen. Taylor Swift won Favorite Tour Style, and Layover – V won Favorite Debut Album. The event also honored new artists across various genres and recognized achievements in songwriting, producing, and social media engagement.
