Metro Istanbul announced on its social media account that the T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar tram line’s Aksaray station platform in the Kabataş direction will be temporarily closed starting tomorrow for revision and renovation works as part of the pedestrianization and environmental arrangement of Ordu Street.
During this period, passengers who will transfer to the M1A Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport, M1B Yenikapı-Kirazlı, and B1 Halkalı-Gebze Marmaray lines are advised to transfer at Yusufpaşa station, while passengers transferring to the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line are advised to transfer at Laleli-İstanbul Üniversitesi station.
The temporary closure of the Aksaray station platform in the Kabataş direction is expected to last for the duration of the renovation and revision works related to the pedestrianization and environmental arrangement of Ordu Street. This closure may cause temporary inconvenience for passengers using the T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar tram line.
Metro Istanbul urged passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and to make necessary adjustments for transfers during this period. They also apologized for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and thanked passengers for their understanding and cooperation during the renovation and revision works.
