Duzce Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the Provincial Security Directorate Narcotics Department and Intelligence Branch carried out an operation against drug dealers. As part of the operation, O.T., M.K.K, E.Ç, E.D. and İ.G. were put under technical and physical surveillance. During the search of their homes and vehicles, 116 grams of synthetic drugs and a sensitive scale were seized, and the suspects were taken into custody.
Following the procedures at the police station, four of the suspects were arrested on charges of “drug trafficking”. One suspect was released on judicial control. The crackdown on drug dealers is part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug trafficking in the region.
Duzce province has been a hub for drug trafficking in recent years, with authorities cracking down on illegal activities to curb the drug trade.
