Former Manchester United player Gary Neville was shocked to hear that according to a Supercomputer, Liverpool were now favorites to win the Premier League over Manchester City. City was trailing Liverpool by three points after a 0-0 draw with Arsenal, who were also ahead of City by a point. After Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Brighton, Neville jokingly mentioned that things had gone from bad to worse after learning that Liverpool was now the favorite contenders for the title.

Neville’s ex-United teammate, Roy Keane, also shared his views on Liverpool being the probable winners of the Premier League. Keane stated that Liverpool seemed to be the most likely team to win, followed by Arsenal. He pointed out that City had injuries to deal with and the upcoming Champions League fixtures could impact their performance. On the other hand, Theo Walcott believed that Arsenal had a shot at ending their 20-year title drought due to their improved fitness, team spirit, and favorable fixtures, even though City had a better run-in.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s goal against Brighton secured their position at the top of the Premier League table. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola agreed with the idea that Liverpool was now the favorites in the title race. He mentioned that Liverpool played well last season and this season, and their recent form reflected their top position in the league, overtaking City. Guardiola noted the quality of both teams and acknowledged the challenge of creating opportunities in games like the one against Arsenal. He encouraged his team to stay focused and prepare for the next game against Aston Villa.

The Supercomputer’s prediction of Liverpool as favorites to win the Premier League was supported by various figures in the football world, including television pundits and former players. The discussion around the title race highlighted Liverpool’s strong performances and their leap to the top of the table, leaving City and Arsenal to compete for the championship. Guardiola’s analysis of the teams’ strengths and weaknesses added to the ongoing debate about which team would emerge victorious at the end of the season. The race for the Premier League title was heating up, with multiple contenders vying for the coveted trophy.
