Weather forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology indicate that the northeastern part of Marmara, Central and Eastern Black Sea, northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as Zonguldak, Düzce, Sinop, Tunceli, Elazığ, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Batman, Siirt, northern parts of Balıkesir, eastern parts of Muğla, inland areas of Antalya, eastern parts of Diyarbakır, and southern parts of Van are expected to be affected by local thunderstorms starting from tomorrow.
After hovering around seasonal norms for some time, temperatures are predicted to rise above seasonal norms once again starting tomorrow, especially in the northern, inland, and eastern regions.
Winds are expected to be generally from the north, light to moderate in southern and western parts of the country, occasionally strong in the Istanbul and Kırklareli’s Black Sea coasts, with north winds blowing at speeds of 30-50 km/h for short periods of time.
Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions, such as avoiding outdoor activities during thunderstorms and securing loose objects that may be blown away by strong winds.
