Former Apprentice contestant Raj Chohan has suggested that the BBC One business reality show will only continue for two more series before potentially being axed. Chohan, who was recently eliminated from the current series, believes that the show will end if Lord Alan Sugar decides to quit. Lord Sugar has previously stated that he plans to leave the programme after its 20th series, but he also indicated that the BBC may continue the show with a new host if he were to step down. The recent double eviction of Raj and Maura Rath on a chaotic shopping task episode has sparked discussions regarding the future of the show.

During the shopping task, Raj led the team as project manager in selecting items to sell live on air, but things quickly turned sour. Maura’s overenthusiastic selling approach, which involved shouting through her segment while attempting to sell a tent, led to complaints from viewers and poor sales performance. The team behind the camera repeatedly asked her to stop shouting, but Maura continued without realizing the impact of her actions. In the boardroom, Lord Sugar criticized Raj for his poor salesmanship and ultimately held him responsible for the task’s failure. Maura was also fired for turning off potential customers and generating complaints. Subsequently, Raj took ownership of his mistakes, while Maura exited with no regrets regarding her passionate selling approach.

The current series of The Apprentice features a diverse group of candidates, including a pharmacist and business owner, a recruitment consultant, a project manager, a yoga company owner, the owner of a jewellery company, a chartered company secretary, and more. These candidates are excited to showcase their business skills and vie for Lord Sugar’s investment. With backgrounds in various industries and experiences, they are ready to tackle the challenges presented on the show. Raj Chohan, a mortgage broker, prides herself on being a determined grafter who knows how to have fun while working. She aims to hit a gap in the market and is committed to achieving success.

The future of The Apprentice remains uncertain, with discussions circulating about its potential end after a few more series. While Lord Alan Sugar had initially planned to leave the show after its 20th series, he has also expressed confidence in the BBC’s ability to continue the programme with a new host if necessary. The recent double eviction of Raj and Maura has raised questions about the candidates’ abilities to handle tasks effectively and impress Lord Sugar. As the show continues to showcase the challenges and successes of aspiring entrepreneurs, viewers are left wondering about the fate of The Apprentice and the impact it will have on the business reality show landscape.
