Princess Kate Middleton was not present at the royal family’s Easter church service on March 31st, opting to spend the holiday with Prince William and their three children in private due to her recent cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, along with other royal family members, attended the service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England. The King arrived in good spirits, waving to crowds before entering the chapel.

During the ceremony, the monarch sat in the “Sovereign’s Seat” near the front of the altar, while other family members took their usual places in the stalls. Charles and Camilla delighted crowds as they left the service, shaking hands and speaking to well-wishers. The royal family conducted a walkabout in the castle grounds to thank members of the congregation, estate workers, and the public for their support. The service is an annual tradition for the royal family, with William, Kate, and their children attending in previous years.

Kate Middleton has been on a break from royal engagements since undergoing abdominal surgery in January and receiving a cancer diagnosis. She emphasized the need for privacy as she undergoes preventative chemotherapy and focuses on making a full recovery. Despite the shock of her diagnosis, Kate and William have been managing the situation privately for the sake of their young family. William has been supporting Kate through her health crisis, spending time with their children and helping with schoolwork.

Kate’s children are aware of their mother’s illness and are coping as best as they can during this challenging time. Although Kate initially planned to return to work after Easter, her medical team will determine when she is cleared to resume her official duties. Kate is unsure when she will feel ready to step back into the public eye, but the decision will ultimately be up to her. The royal family is rallying around Kate and providing support as she navigates through her cancer treatment.

The royal family’s Easter celebrations were marked by absence and private family time as they faced Kate Middleton’s recent cancer diagnosis. Despite this challenging time, the family remains strong and united in supporting Kate through her treatment. The public has shown their support for the royal family during this difficult period, with crowds gathering at St. George’s Chapel and sending well-wishes to the monarch and his family. The royal family’s annual Easter tradition continues, with William, Kate, and their children looking forward to participating in the future when Kate is ready to resume her official duties.
