Transport and Infrastructure Minister Bakan Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy are set to inaugurate the new service buildings and connecting road of the airport in Trabzon on August 27th. Following the opening ceremony, the two ministers will visit the natural beauties of the city, including Çal Cave, Şahinkaya Natural Climbing Park, and Hıdırnebi Plateau.

In a statement, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Uraloğlu expressed that with the modernized service buildings, they aim to increase the capacity of Trabzon Airport and provide passengers with a faster and more comfortable experience. He emphasized that when Trabzon’s rich cultural and natural resources meet transportation projects, the city’s attractiveness will further increase.

Uraloğlu stated, “We are contributing to both Trabzon’s economy and tourism potential with our transportation projects. Our new airport facilities will allow our city to attract more visitors and facilitate the development of trade. I wish everyone a successful opening in advance.”

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also commented on the importance of the transportation projects in Trabzon, highlighting that they will help showcase the city’s potential to a wider audience. He mentioned that the investments made in infrastructure and transportation will make Trabzon more accessible and attractive for tourists.

Ersoy added, “By improving the transportation infrastructure in Trabzon, we are paving the way for the sustainable development of the city’s tourism sector. These projects will not only benefit the locals but also contribute to the overall growth of the region.”

The inauguration of the new service buildings and connecting road at Trabzon Airport marks an important milestone in the city’s development. It is expected that these improvements will not only enhance the travel experience for passengers but also boost tourism and economic activities in the region. The ministers’ visit to the natural attractions of Trabzon further emphasizes the city’s potential as a top tourist destination in Turkey.
