A service vehicle driven by Murtaza Yıldırım in Arnavutköy Yassıören Köyü veered off the road and overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The accident resulted in injuries to nine people, including the driver, who were reported to be employees of Istanbul Airport. Following the incident, emergency medical, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area to provide assistance.
Upon arrival, the gendarmerie took security measures at the scene, and four of the injured individuals were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment, while the remaining five received medical attention on-site from ambulance crews. Efforts to retrieve the overturned vehicle from the embankment began promptly after the accident.
The traffic flow in the area is being carefully managed by the gendarmerie teams to ensure the safety of motorists and prevent any further incidents. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to the driver losing control of the vehicle and veering off the road.
