Reality TV star Lala Kent has issued an apology to actor David Arquette for not being friendly while working together on the set of their 2020 film, Spree. Kent admitted to feeling intimidated by the presence of well-known and established actors, including Arquette, and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity despite feeling out of place. Arquette had previously revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that Kent was not the friendliest towards him during their interactions on set.
During his appearance on the show, Arquette mentioned that Kent’s behavior towards him reminded him of filming scenes for Vanderpump Rules, which led him to believe she had given him attitude. The film Spree, released in January 2020, starred Joe Keery as a rideshare driver who murders his passengers to gain social media attention. Arquette played Keery’s father and Kent portrayed passenger Kendra Sheraton. The horror flick also featured Sasheer Zamata, Kyle Mooney, and Mischa Barton.
Following Arquette’s comments about Kent, his fans took to social media to support him, with one user questioning why Kent would give attitude to someone as nice as Arquette, especially since she is not known for her acting abilities. Meanwhile, Kent is currently expecting her second daughter through intrauterine insemination with a sperm donor. She recently celebrated her baby shower in a Selkie minidress, the same design she had criticized her Vanderpump Rules co-star Ariana Madix for wearing in 2021.
Kent is already a mother to her three-year-old daughter, Ocean, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. She announced her second pregnancy in March and revealed during an Amazon Live chat that she was expecting another daughter. Despite initially feeling like boy energy would be nice in the house, Kent expressed her excitement for more girl time, as their household is currently filled with females. Kent’s upcoming arrival of her second daughter adds to her growing family and brings even more joy and love into their home.
