A 23-year-old Amazon driver in New York was viciously attacked by a stranger while on the job. Tamia Alvarez had just collected some packages from the Amazon warehouse in Queens when the attacker, identified as Kevon Wilson, started storming towards her. He proceeded to assault her, calling her names and physically attacking her. The attack was captured on CCTV footage, showing Alvarez defending herself and her belongings while being assaulted by Wilson.
During the assault, Wilson made derogatory comments towards Alvarez, calling her names and belittling her job as an Amazon driver. Despite Collins landing several blows, Wilson continued trying to attack Alvarez, even trying to steal the delivery van. Both Amazon workers sustained minor injuries while trying to prevent Wilson from fleeing with the vehicle. In the end, the attacker was arrested for robbery and assault.
