According to the latest assessments, it is expected that the inner and western parts of the country will be partly cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms in the north and east of Marmara, the north and west of Central Anatolia, the western and central Black Sea regions, as well as around Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Isparta, and the eastern part of Burdur. Other areas are expected to have few clouds and clear skies.
Strong winds are expected in Afyonkarahisar, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Burdur, Bursa, Denizli, Eskişehir, Isparta, İzmir, Kütahya, Manisa, and Uşak, with a “yellow” coded warning issued for severe rainfall expected in Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ. The temperature is expected to remain above seasonal norms.
The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a warning for the high winds as well as heavy rain in several provinces. The continued above-average temperatures are expected to persist.
In a “yellow” coded warning for provinces including Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ, heavy rainfall is expected. The high temperatures are forecasted to continue with partly cloudy weather in the inner and western regions of the country.
