The Atatürk Airport is hosting an event organized by the World Ethnosports Confederacy. The third day of the festival featured a variety of activities including traditional sports, games, arts, and gastronomy. Spectators enthusiastically watched events such as equestrian wrestling, archery, javelin throwing, acrobatics, and martial arts, as well as traditional Turkic sport of kökbörü. Visitors had the opportunity to experience and participate in a range of traditional sports and games.
The actors from the popular TV show “Tozkoparan İskender” on TRT met with fans during the festival. The Ethnosports Culture Festival excitement continued with TRT’s communication sponsor stand drawing attention from visitors. Characters from beloved cartoons on TRT Children and popular series on TRT 1 interacted with their fans.
The third day of the Ethnosports Culture Festival featured the Fetih Yağlı Güreş wrestling competitions. Ismail Balaban and Mustafa Taş faced each other in the final after defeating their opponents. Balaban emerged as the champion after defeating Taş in the final, capturing the attention and enthusiasm of the audience. AK Party Kayseri MP Hulusi Akar visited the festival, watched the competitions and performances, and took photos with the attendees.
Mazhar Alanson performed a concert at the Ethnosports Culture Festival. Following the performance by Grup Genç, Alanson sang popular songs including “Sarı Laleler,” “Psipokatım,” and “Tam Ortasındayım” while engaging with the audience. Alanson expressed his admiration for the oba tents set up at the festival and shared some wise words with the younger generation about the challenges of life and the importance of perseverance. He entertained the crowd for about an hour before leaving the stage.
Tomorrow’s performances at the festival will include concerts by Kıraç, Grup Yürüyüş, and Zeynep Betül Akyıldız singing children’s songs. The ongoing Ethnosports Culture Festival has been a celebration of traditional sports, games, arts, and gastronomy, attracting a diverse range of participants and spectators who have been enjoying the various events and activities throughout the three-day event.
