Carrie-Anne Moss, best known for her role as Trinity in “The Matrix” movies, has a more holistic approach to life off-screen. She founded Annapurna Living, a mindful female empowerment brand, and practices yoga regularly. She and her husband moved to a farmhouse in New Hampshire to escape the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Despite her more grounded lifestyle, Moss has returned to the screen in Disney+’s “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte,” where she plays Master Indara, a formidable Jedi with great strength. Moss underwent extensive training for the physically demanding role.

Moss describes her character in “The Acolyte” as someone with great skill and both physical and mental strength. She prepared for the role with choreography training, as well as cardio, weight training, and Pilates. Her character is known for her layered, textured kimono-like attire while Moss admits her own off-duty wardrobe is somewhat disheveled with moments of grace. She provides a glimpse into her favorite products and lifestyle choices in maintaining her well-grounded lifestyle, which includes items like skin moisturizer, midcentury-modern furniture, avant-garde clothing, and a wood-fired sauna.

Moss shares some of her favorite products that help her maintain her balanced lifestyle, like linen bed sheets, wood-fired saunas, and pure beeswax candles for setting the tone at home. She also enjoys classic and unique fragrances, hair products, and clothing items that accentuate her natural wave and texture. Moss reveals her passion for hard kombucha as a guilty pleasure and her preferred skin care products from Living Libations. She also mentions her love for an Odin Ice Bath post-workout for reducing inflammation and muscle recovery.

One of Moss’s post-workout splurges is an Odin Ice Bath, which she describes as the best relief for reducing inflammation and accelerating muscle recovery. She recommends this cold plunge as a way to unwind after a strenuous workout. Additionally, Moss also shares her favorite travel destination, a magical hotel located in Hampshire, England, where she stayed while filming “The Acolyte.” The secluded estate offers 438 acres of woodlands, gardens, meadows, orchards, and lakes, providing a profoundly nourishing experience for guests with impeccable service and amenities.

In addition to her role in “The Acolyte,” Moss is focused on her holistic lifestyle and personal well-being. She emphasizes the importance of self-care and relaxation, incorporating items like pure beeswax candles, high-quality skin care products, and linen bed sheets into her routine. Her approach to maintaining a balanced lifestyle includes both physical and mental well-being, with practices like yoga, sauna sessions, and cold plunges. Moss’s mindful approach to life both on and off-screen reflects her commitment to holistic living and self-care practices.
