A car carrying 5 people in Aksu district of Antalya plunged into a stream from a bridge approximately 2 meters high. Three of the individuals, who were of foreign nationality and whose names have not been identified, managed to escape from the vehicle on their own.
Upon receiving the alert, Jandarma Search and Rescue (JAK), fire brigade, AFAD, UMKE, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. As the teams arrived at the specified address, the 3 injured persons in the accident were taken to the hospital by ambulances. Divers started a search in the stream upon reports of a woman in her 20s and a child being missing in the water.
It was reported that the search efforts, which lasted for about 4 hours, would continue during the day.
