Another woman accuses ‘Diddy’ of drugging and sexually assaulting her, files lawsuit against hip-hop mogul

A woman named April Lampros filed a lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting her more than 20 years ago in New York City. Lampros alleges that Combs initially promised to mentor her but subsequently became “aggressive” and “coercive”. She is the sixth woman to come forward with assault allegations against Combs, including incidents where she was allegedly forced to have sex with Combs and his former girlfriend Kim Porter. Lampros is suing Combs for battery, sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress, and gender-motivated violence.

The lawsuit details several instances of alleged assault, including a claim that Combs sexually assaulted Lampros in a New York City hotel in 1995 after pressuring her to drink alcohol. Lampros states that Combs forcibly kissed her, undressed her, and raped her while she was in a state of distress. She claims that Combs continued to pursue her after the assault, sending gifts and flowers in an attempt to lure her back. Lampros alleges that Combs assaulted her again in 1995 by forcing her to perform oral sex on him and later threatened her with physical harm and banned her from the fashion industry.

Lampros also details an incident in 1996 where she claims Combs forced her to engage in sexual acts with Kim Porter after drugging them with ecstasy. She severed ties with Combs by 1998 following further threats and retaliation from both Combs and Porter. The lawsuit also mentions an encounter with Combs in 2000 where he allegedly assaulted her at her apartment. Lampros hopes that her lawsuit will bring justice and prevent other women from experiencing similar abuse in the future.

Combs has faced multiple legal issues recently, including a federal criminal investigation and several lawsuits alleging sexual and physical abuse. In November, his former partner Cassie filed a lawsuit accusing him of abuse, which was settled the next day. Video footage surfaced showing Combs assaulting Cassie in a hotel, prompting a public apology from Combs. Other women have come forward with similar allegations against Combs, including Crystal McKinney, who filed a federal lawsuit claiming he assaulted her in 2003. Combs has consistently denied all allegations of abuse and wrongdoing, vowing to clear his name.

Federal agents have searched Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami, reportedly finding firearms. Despite these searches, no criminal or civil liability has been found, and Combs continues to maintain his innocence. His attorney has criticized the rush to judgment based on the allegations in civil lawsuits and emphasized Combs’ cooperation with authorities. The lawsuits against Combs, including those from Lampros, Cassie, and McKinney, are pending, with ongoing legal battles and a series of allegations continuing to unfold.
