According to reports, a postal worker arrived at a residence on Çavuşpaşa Street in the Atatürk neighborhood and notified the 112 Emergency Call Center due to bad smells coming from inside.
As a result, police, health, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area. Upon entering the house, the teams found the bodies of 80-year-old Hatice Turan and her 50-year-old son Kamil Turan.
The bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for further examination, while the police continue their investigation into the incident.
The exact cause of death has not been confirmed yet, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic event.
