Vanessa Marcil recently revealed that Megan Fox has apologized for previously claiming that she and Brian Austin Green cut their son, Kassius, out of their lives during their marriage. Marcil stated that Fox, who was 17 at the time, has taken responsibility for her actions and apologized to both Marcil and their child. She also mentioned that it was not Fox’s responsibility to maintain Green’s relationship with his son.
Marcil and Green met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210 and had a son, Kassius, together in March 2002. After the couple split, Green began dating Fox in 2004, and they eventually got married in 2010. They share three children: Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. Green has since moved on and is now in a relationship with Sharna Burgess, with whom he shares a son. Fox is dating Machine Gun Kelly. The couple finalized their divorce in February 2022 after a decade of marriage.
Marcil’s comments about Fox and Green cutting Kassius out of their lives came more than five years after she first spoke out about their custody battle. In 2018, Marcil revealed that Green and Fox had completely cut Kassius out of their lives and were seeking full custody through a legal battle. She also shared details about her experience defending herself and her son in court. Green did not comment on Marcil’s claims at the time but later addressed them on his Instagram Story in 2022.
In response to Marcil’s allegations, Green posted screenshots of court papers disproving her claims and expressing frustration over continued lies being spread on social media. He also criticized Marcil for making false statements about their coparenting relationship and claimed that he and Fox have worked hard to give Kassius a well-rounded childhood. Green expressed his annoyance at Marcil’s social media posts and indicated that he believes she should move on from their past conflicts and stop causing unnecessary drama.
