Police teams from the Narcotics Department of the Provincial Security Directorate conducted operations at addresses in the city center where drug cultivation and sales were suspected between May 5-11.
During the operation, 18 kilograms and 350 grams of marijuana grown in pots on the balcony with set up apparatus at home, 32,826 drugs with drug effect obtainable with a green prescription, 1012 narcotic pills, 112 cannabis roots, some synthetic drugs, heroin, and cocaine were confiscated.
Out of the 53 suspects taken into custody, 30 were arrested and 23 were released under judicial control conditions.
