Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the co-owner of Manchester United, is considering the future of current manager Erik ten Hag with just two games remaining in the season that could determine whether or not he continues as manager. Ten Hag faces a crucial match against Brighton as United aim to secure a spot in at least the Conference League. Speculation is rife about Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford, with replacement candidates being considered by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS colleagues, including one who has become available.

Meanwhile, in response to Roy Keane’s comments about a “head job” at Newcastle, Eddie Howe has remained focused on his duties as the Magpies manager. Additionally, there are reports about Erik ten Hag’s stance on Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United. Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he will be leaving Bayern Munich after failing to come to an agreement to stay, sparking rumors that he could be a potential replacement for Ten Hag at United.

On the women’s side, Manchester United Women boss Marc Skinner has signed a contract extension following their Women’s FA Cup victory, despite speculation about his position. In another managerial appointment, former Manchester United player Robin van Persie has landed his first job as a head coach at Eredivisie club Heerenveen. Van Persie had previously turned down an offer to join Ten Hag’s coaching staff at United in order to stay in Rotterdam for family reasons.

In the world of boxing, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to face off in a highly anticipated bout on May 18 for the prestigious WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, aiming to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999. The stakes are high for both fighters as they seek to etch their names in boxing history. As the season comes to a close, all eyes are on Manchester United, as they navigate crucial games and contractual decisions that could shape the future of the club under the ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The managerial landscape of English football is ever-changing, with potential shifts and appointments on the horizon.
