The National Television Awards 2023 nominations include leading actresses Anjana Vasan, Anne Reid, Bella Ramsey, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Lancashire, and Sharon Horgan. Bella Ramsey has been nominated for her role in The Last of Us. Among the leading actors nominated are Brian Cox, Dominic West, Kane Robinson, Paapa Essiedu, Steve Coogan, and Timothy Spall. Timothy Spall won in this category for his role in The Sixth Commandment.

In the supporting actress category, nominees include Elizabeth Debicki, Harriet Walter, Jasmine Jobson, Lesley Manville, Nico Parker, and Siobhan Finneran. Jasmine Jobson won for her performance in Top Boy. For supporting actors, nominees are Amit Shah, Éanna Hardwicke, Harris Dickinson, Jack Lowden, Matthew Macfadyen, and Salim Daw. Matthew Macfadyen emerged as the winner for his role in Succession.

Female performance in a comedy saw nominations for Bridget Christie, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Máiréad Tyers, Roisin Gallagher, Sofia Oxenham, and Taj Atwal. Gbemisola Ikumelo won for her role in Black Ops. Male performance in a comedy nominees include Adjani Salmon, David Tennant, Hammed Animashaun, Jamie Demetriou, Joseph Gilgun, and Mawaan Rizwan. Mawaan Rizwan won in this category for Juice.

Drama series nominees include The Gold, Happy Valley, Slow Horses, and Top Boy, which emerged as the winner. Limited drama nominations include Best Interests, Demon 79 (Black Mirror), The Long Shadow, and The Sixth Commandment, with the latter winning. Scripted comedy nominations are for Big Boys, Dreaming Whilst Black, Extraordinary, and Such Brave Girls, with Such Brave Girls winning.

Soap nominees are Casualty, EastEnders, and Emmerdale, with Casualty winning. Entertainment programme nominees include Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas, Later… With Jools Holland, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, and Strictly Come Dancing, with the latter coming out as the winner. Entertainment performance nominees are Anthony McPartlin & Declan Donnelly, Big Zuu, Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Joe Lycett, and Rob Beckett & Romesh Ranganathan, with Joe Lycett winning.

Comedy entertainment programme nominees include The Graham Norton Show, Late Night Lycett, Rob & Romesh Vs, and Would I Lie To You?, with Rob & Romesh Vs winning. Overall, the National Television Awards 2023 feature a diverse range of nominees and winners across various categories in the entertainment industry.
