The schedule is determined based on division ranking from the previous season, with each team playing 17 regular season games, including matchups against divisional opponents, conference opponents, and non-conference opponents.

In the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills will face the Patriots, Dolphins, Jets, Jaguars, Titans, Chiefs, Cardinals, and 49ers at home, and the Patriots, Dolphins, Jets, Texans, Colts, Ravens, Rams, and Seahawks on the road. Each team in the AFC North and AFC West has a similar breakdown of opponents, with home and away matchups set against division rivals and other conference and non-conference opponents.

In the NFC, teams like the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders in the NFC East will face familiar opponents within their division as well as teams from the NFC North, NFC South, and NFC West. Each team will play a total of 17 regular season games, with matchups based on division ranking from the previous season.
