An Alabama middle school assistant principal, Keante Harris, has been arrested in connection to a 2013 Georgia cold case triple murder along with three other individuals – Kevin Harris, Darrell Harris, and Kenneth Thompson. The victims, Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson, Quinones King, and Rodney Cottrell, were discovered dead in Fulton County, Georgia, inside an abandoned Dodge Charger. The bodies were found by police on the side of a highway, and it was determined that the victims had been lured to a home in Jonesboro, Georgia, at gunpoint before being placed in the car’s back seat.

The medical examiners determined that King and Cottrell died from asphyxiation, while Colquitt-Thompson was killed by strangulation. The motive behind the torture and killings has not been announced by authorities, but Cottrell’s family believes that the victims were visiting family members of Colquitt-Thompson and King at the time of their deaths. The suspects were apprehended in Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina without incident, according to Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen’s announcement.

Prior to the murder charges being announced, Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Walter Gonsoulin confirmed that Harris was employed within the school system as an assistant principal at McAdory Middle School. Gonsoulin stated that they are still gathering facts about the situation and that early indications suggest the charges are not related to Harris’s employment with Jefferson County Schools. The local news station WSFA reported on the victims’ identities and causes of death, as well as the capture of the suspects across multiple states.

The accused individuals face three counts of malice murder in connection to the triple murder case. Detectives believe that the victims were forced inside the home at gunpoint before being placed in the Dodge Charger, where they were later discovered dead. The victims’ identities and causes of death were confirmed by medical examiners, shedding light on the tragic events that took place in 2013. The suspects were apprehended without incident in multiple states, and authorities have worked to piece together the circumstances surrounding the alleged torture and killings.

The case of the 2013 Georgia cold case triple murder has shocked the community, and the involvement of an assistant principal has added another layer of intrigue to the story. The victims’ families have expressed their grief and disbelief at the tragic deaths of their loved ones, while authorities work to uncover the motive behind the brutal killings. The suspects, including Keante Harris, are now facing serious charges in connection to the case, and the legal proceedings are expected to shed more light on the events that transpired in 2013. As the investigation continues, more details may emerge about the circumstances surrounding the triple murder and the individuals involved in the heinous crime.
