The Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Unit of the Provincial Police Department conducted a raid on a warehouse owned by a suspect named A.K.A. in the Osmangazi district.
During the search of the warehouse, 619 smuggled car airbags, 324 car axles, 232 car tail lights, 120 chest panels, 100 steering wheels, 30 car logos, 20 eccentric parts, and 7 headlight brains were seized.
The seized materials, with an estimated market value of around 50 million Turkish lira, were confiscated, and the warehouse owner, A.K.A., was taken into custody. Legal proceedings have been initiated against him under Law No. 5607 on Smuggling.
The authorities praised the successful operation and emphasized their commitment to cracking down on smuggling and organized crime activities in the region. The raid was a result of thorough investigation and surveillance carried out by the law enforcement agencies.
