Creating an Organization where Each Member Pursues Their Own Mission

Kunio Hara, the creator of the HO-ME-I-KU Method, has introduced an effective program for employee and executive education to achieve success. The key point of his method is to have a clear mission for both the organization and its employees. Hara emphasizes the importance of each individual setting their own mission, as it helps them become more proactive and positively involved with the organization. Employees who have a clear mission tend to be more fulfilled in both their personal and work lives.

When employees have their own missions, they become more independent and dedicated to their work. If they are unclear about their mission, they may become dependent on the company and lose their roles if company policies change. Hara suggests that employees who are unsure about their mission should focus on identifying their strengths, as these strengths are key tools for fulfilling their mission. By helping employees discover their strengths and linking them to a mission, organizations can empower their employees to reach their full potential.

There are various types of missions that employees can have, from personal goals to childhood dreams. Regardless of the type of mission, Hara believes that they are actions that make the individual feel praised by a higher power. Once employees have identified their missions, they are encouraged to take action towards fulfilling them. It is important for leaders to provide frequent praise and encouragement to employees as they make progress towards their missions. By praising themselves and recognizing the progress they have made, employees can boost their self-esteem and improve the quality and quantity of their actions.

Hara recommends that leaders and employees focus on self-praise, as it can help individuals stay motivated and focused on their missions. By loving and valuing oneself, individuals can lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. The concept of mission and strengths being interlinked is emphasized throughout Hara’s method, as he believes that every employee has the potential to fulfill their unique mission. By asking employees about their missions and empowering them to pursue their goals, organizations can create a more engaged and driven workforce.

Forbes Business Council, a prestigious networking organization for business owners and leaders, provides valuable resources and opportunities for growth. As Hara’s method gains popularity and recognition, more organizations are likely to adopt his principles to help employees discover their missions and achieve success. By integrating the concept of mission and strengths into employee development programs, companies can empower their workforce to reach their full potential and contribute positively to the organization.
