Malatya Police Department teams acted upon a tip-off that a citizen named Y.G. was forced to take out a loan of 360,000 TL by individuals he met on social media. As a result, four suspects were detained.
After determining the addresses of the suspects, the teams carried out a raid and took four individuals into custody. After the necessary procedures at the police station, two of the suspects were arrested while the other two were released under judicial control.
It was reported that the suspects had taken advantage of the victim’s trust that they built through social media and convinced him to take out a loan. The victim, Y.G., reported the incident to the police, leading to the investigation and subsequent arrests.
