A four-month-old baby boy suffered a cardiac arrest while waiting in line for the Lego Coastguard HQ ride at Legoland Windsor in Berkshire. The incident occurred last Thursday, and the baby was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The mother, a 27-year-old woman from Essex, was taken into custody on suspicion of neglect to cause unnecessary injury and has been released on bail. Legoland staff and visitors were left shocked by the incident, with the area around the ride being cordoned off and other nearby rides being closed as well.

The baby boy was in a pram at the time of the incident, and there was a woman with him, possibly the same person who was arrested. The ride, described as a “slow boat ride,” was suitable for children, and Legoland employees expressed hope for the baby’s recovery. The police are investigating the incident and have requested information from anyone who was queuing for the Coastguard HQ boat ride between 11:30 am and 12:45 pm. They are urging witnesses to come forward with any relevant information to assist in their investigation. The family of the baby boy is being supported during this difficult time.

Efforts are being made to determine the cause of the baby’s cardiac arrest and the circumstances surrounding the incident at Legoland Windsor. The theme park staff have been cooperating with the police investigation, and the arrested woman has been released on bail pending further inquiries. Legoland visitors and employees who witnessed the events are encouraged to provide information to assist the authorities in their investigation. The well-being of the baby boy and his family is of utmost importance, and support is being extended to them during this challenging time.

The incident has raised concerns and prompted a heightened level of vigilance at Legoland Windsor to ensure the safety of all visitors, particularly children. The tragic event has left many shocked and saddened, and efforts are being made to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Legoland’s management and staff are working closely with the authorities to provide assistance in the investigation. The health and safety protocols at the theme park are being reviewed and reinforced to prevent any potential risks or incidents that could jeopardize the well-being of visitors, especially young children.

Legoland Windsor has temporarily closed the Coastguard HQ ride and taken additional precautions to ensure the safety and security of all guests. The incident has underscored the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and protocols at theme parks and other public attractions to prevent accidents and emergencies. The authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation. The priority is to determine the cause of the baby’s cardiac arrest and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future. The community’s thoughts and prayers are with the baby boy and his family as they navigate this challenging and distressing time.
