A fire broke out at around 7:30 in the morning in the attic of the Blue Corner Apart Hotel in Dalyan neighborhood of Ortaca.
The fire, believed to have started from an electrical contact, quickly spread on the roof. Upon the notification of the locals, fire brigade, gendarmerie, and health teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters made intense efforts to prevent the flames from spreading to the lower floors of the apart hotel where one person was staying.
After an hour of effort by the firefighters, the flames were extinguished without spreading to the lower floors. While there was damage on the attic floor, an investigation was launched into the fire.
The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical contact, and authorities are investigating the case further to determine the exact cause of the incident.
The incident caused panic among the residents and guests of the Blue Corner Apart Hotel, but thanks to the swift response of the emergency teams, no casualties were reported.
