The city was negatively affected by snowfall that began in the morning and continued intermittently.
Due to snow and blizzards, 7 village roads in the city center, 3 in Akyaka, 11 in Arpaçay, 7 in Digor, 12 in Kağızman, 9 in Susuz, and 9 in Sarıkamış were closed off.
The Provincial Special Administration teams continue to work to clear the roads.
In Digor district, vehicles became stranded due to heavy snow and blizzards. In Yemençayır and Oyuklu group villages, 15 vehicles were stuck on the road.
The vehicles and citizens who were stranded were rescued by the District Special Administration teams.
