A fire broke out in a single-story wooden house owned by Abdullah Kocaman in the Boyabat district of Sinop for reasons that have not yet been determined. The flames, which spread to two houses and barns next to it due to the wind, were reported to the fire department by onlookers.
Firefighters from the Boyabat and Ayancık municipalities, as well as personnel from the Boyabat Forestry Directorate, were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report and managed to extinguish the fire. Three houses and two barns were left unusable as a result of the fire.
