Istanbul Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate conducted an operation by civil traffic teams in response to videos shared on social media. It was determined that the drivers of the car with license plate number 34 EJS 479, driven by M.B, and the car with license plate number 07 ADZ 758, driven by H.E.B. and B.B., posed a danger to traffic during a wedding convoy on the South Şile Highway.
As a result of the operation, the drivers were fined a total of 6,210 Turkish Lira in accordance with the relevant articles of the Highways Traffic Law. The drivers were also taken to the Atakent Martyr Numan Şeref Datlı Police Station, where legal proceedings were initiated against them.
