Istanbul Airport (IGA), the operator of the airport, organized a marching band show in the domestic and international terminal section of the airport. Local and foreign passengers who watched the show captured these moments with their cell phones.
Children passengers waiting for their flights were entertained with face painting, balloon animals, and magic shows, while cotton candy, popcorn, and Turkish delight were offered to the children and their families.
In addition to the celebrations, children aged 4-6 of the airport staff participated in a MasterChef Junior workshop at FoodIGA in the international departure area where they made chocolate cookies.
The chocolate cookies made by the children were served to passengers and children visiting the airport.
