Supporting actor awards were given to Will Close for “Dear England” and Jak Malone for “Operation Mincemeat,” while supporting actress awards went to Haydn Gwynne for “When Winston Went to War with the Wireless” and Amy Trigg for “The Little Big Things.” The award for Director went to Jamie Lloyd for “Sunset Boulevard,” and the Outstanding Musical Contribution was given to musical supervisor Alan Williams for the same production. Arlene Phillips and James Cousins won in the Theater Choreography category for “Guys and Dolls,” while the New Opera Production award went to “Innocence” by the Royal Opera.
Antonio Pappano, the music director of the Royal Opera House, received the Outstanding Achievement in Opera award. In the dance categories, “La Ruta” by Gabriela Carrizo at Sadler’s Wells won for New Dance Production, and Isabela Coracy was recognized for her performance in “Nina: By Whatever Means” at the Barbican. Set design was awarded to Miriam Buether and 59 Productions for “Stranger Things: The First Shadow,” while Jack Knowles won for Lighting Design in “Sunset Boulevard.” Adam Fisher received the award for Sound Design in the same production, and Marg Horwell won for Costume Design in “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” The Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theater award went to “Sleepova” at the Bush Theatre.
