YouTube personalities Logan Paul, MrBeast, and KSI recently launched a new product called Lunchly, which they described as a “healthier” alternative to Kraft Heinz’s Lunchables. However, another YouTube creator, Rosanna Pansino, had a negative experience with the product after allegedly finding mold in the cheese part of the pizza component of Lunchly.

Despite initial claims from MrBeast that Lunchly’s pizza uses real cheese, Pansino’s review revealed mold in the cheese, despite the product being far from its expiration date. Pansino took to social media to share her disappointment, warning her followers about the potential health hazards of consuming moldy food, especially for children.

Pansino’s initial plan was to compare the nutritional value of Lunchly and Lunchables, as well as provide healthy alternatives for her audience. However, the discovery of mold in the Lunchly product forced her to change her focus and highlight the concerning quality issue in the Lunchly pizza component.

Lunchly offers three product options, including turkey and cheese crackers, nacho chips and salsa, and pizza, each accompanied by a Prime brand sports drink created by Paul and KSI, as well as a MrBeast Feastables candy bar. Despite claims of being a healthier option than Lunchables, Pansino’s experience shed light on potential packaging issues that led to mold growth in the product.

Pansino reiterated the importance of food safety and criticized the potential risks associated with consuming moldy food, especially for children who may not recognize the signs of contamination. She highlighted the need for proper packaging to prevent such issues and expressed disappointment in the quality control of the Lunchly product she received.

As Pansino’s video gained attention online, many others shared similar experiences of finding mold in their Lunchly products, raising concerns about the overall quality and safety of the brand. The controversy surrounding Lunchly’s pizza component prompted a reevaluation of the brand’s claims of providing a healthier lunch option and sparked a conversation about food safety standards in the industry.
