In a village in the province of Sualtı in the early hours of the morning, wolves attacked small livestock in a pasture in the Dereboyu Hamlet. The wolves killed 74 sheep and injured 16 others, while the rest of the flock was saved with the help of shepherds.
The shepherds informed the owners of the flock, and the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate teams went to the area. The teams that arrived at the pasture prepared a report on the sheep that were killed.
The headman of Sualtı Village, Yakup Akkaya, stated that nearly 90 sheep died as a result of the attack by wolves in the early morning. He also mentioned that there were injured sheep and that teams from the Agriculture and Forestry Directorate came to the area and prepared a report on the incident.
According to the report prepared by the Agriculture and Forestry Directorate teams, 74 sheep were killed in the attack. The loss of livestock has caused distress among the villagers, and measures are being taken to prevent further attacks in the future. The villagers are now working with the authorities to protect their livestock and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
