According to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, today the weather across the country is expected to be partly cloudy, with occasional rain and thunderstorms in various regions, including Marmara, Aegean, West Mediterranean, northern and western parts of Central Anatolia, Black Sea, northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as Hatay, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaras, Adiyaman, Gaziantep, Kilis, Elazig, Van, and Hakkari. Dust transport is also expected nationwide.

Over the weekend, the country is expected to experience rainy weather. The rainfall is expected to be heavy in the form of showers and thunderstorms, especially in the inner parts of West Mediterranean and Aegean, southeastern parts of Marmara, Black Sea, northern parts of Central Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia.

There is a warning for strong winds as well. Tomorrow, strong winds are expected to blow from the north in Marmara and North Aegean, from the south in the southeastern parts of Central Anatolia, Eastern Black Sea, and eastern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia. On Sunday, strong winds, occasionally reaching stormy levels, are expected to blow from the south in the southeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Additionally, over the weekend, there will be incidents of dust transport in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country.

Weather temperatures are expected to decrease over the weekend, falling below seasonal averages in the inner and eastern regions. The highest temperature values expected over the weekend are as follows: 16 degrees in Ankara, 21 degrees in Istanbul, 23 degrees in Izmir, 17 degrees in Samsun, 22 degrees in Antalya, and 24 degrees in Diyarbakir. The weather will continue to be around the seasonal norms despite the fluctuations in temperature.
