Season 4 of the hit superhero satire series, The Boys, introduces two new members of The Seven – Sister Sage and Firecracker. The stars who play them, Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry, are bringing familiar faces to the show. Heyward plays Sister Sage, who catches the attention of Homelander with her superpower of being the smartest person in the world. Firecracker, portrayed by Curry, is a bible-thumping conspiracy theorist who can emit small explosions from her hands. Despite her controversial nature, Firecracker becomes a key player in The Seven as well.

The departure of previous members such as Starlight and Queen Maeve has opened the door for new characters to make their mark on the show. Black Noir has also returned as Black Noir II after tragic events in Season 3. Sister Sage and Firecracker quickly become central to the plot of Season 4 as they navigate their roles in The Seven. Meanwhile, the resistance group known as The Boys continues their fight against Homelander and Vought International.

Susan Heyward, who plays Sister Sage, has an impressive career history that predates her role in The Boys. From her early roles in sitcoms and crime dramas to starring in hit shows like Powers and Orange is the New Black, Heyward has proved her versatility as an actress. Valorie Curry, who portrays Firecracker, also has an impressive resume, having appeared in popular series like The Following and The Tick. Curry’s experience in both drama and comedy has prepared her for the unique challenges of her role in The Boys.

Heyward’s breakout role came in the hit superhero drama Powers, where she starred opposite Sharlto Copley. In the series, she played a detective investigating crimes committed by superhumans. Curry, on the other hand, made a name for herself as one of the followers of a serial killer in The Following. Her role in The Tick showcased her comedic talents as she starred alongside Peter Serafinowicz and Griffin Newman in the Prime Video series.

Both Heyward and Curry bring a wealth of experience from their previous roles to their characters in The Boys. Their on-screen chemistry and dynamic performances have helped to elevate the show to new heights in Season 4. As Sister Sage and Firecracker become integral parts of The Seven, fans can expect to see even more exciting developments and unexpected twists as the season unfolds.
