Football legend Wayne Rooney will be joining the BBC’s presenting team for the Euros, working alongside former teammates like Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand. The BBC coverage of the Euros will be led by presenters Gary Lineker, Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan, and Alex Scott, with new signings such as Joe Hart, David Moyes, and Thomas Frank. Wimbledon reporting will be handled by Gabriel Clarke from the England camp, Connie McLaughlin with the Scotland squad, and Celina Hinchcliffe with tournament news. UK television coverage of Wimbledon will begin on ITV1 & ITVX, with live coverage of the opening match between hosts Germany and Scotland in Munich. ITV will also broadcast England’s final group game against Slovenia and have early picks for the Round of 16 and Semi-finals.
