Two people, identified as H.A. and G.E., living in Tekirdağ, set out to sea from the shore of Bahçelievler Mahallesi in the Süleymanpaşa district at around 7:30 pm on an inflatable rubber boat. As they drifted out into the open sea with the boat in the rough waters, the two individuals were unable to bring the boat back to shore, so they jumped into the sea to swim towards land.
