Hüseyin İlkinci was driving a pickup truck when he collided with a car driven by Rukiye Erçıktı near Gümüşdere Mahallesi. The incident prompted the dispatch of health, gendarmerie, and firefighting teams to the scene for assistance. Upon examination, the health team determined that the pickup truck driver, Hüseyin İlkinci, had lost his life in the collision.

Rukiye Erçıktı, the driver of the car, as well as passengers Mehmet Ali Erçıktı, Sıla Erçıktı, and the occupants of the pickup truck, Şerife İlkinci and Zehra İlkinci, were all injured and subsequently taken to Tavas State Hospital by health teams for treatment. Unfortunately, Zehra İlkinci did not survive despite the medical intervention provided at the hospital.

Following the accident, the road was closed to traffic for a period of time, but was reopened once the vehicles involved were removed.
