A wild party boat brawl broke out on a yacht, the Cornucopia Majesty, at Pier 4 at the Brooklyn Army Terminal near 58th Street in Sunset Park in Brooklyn on Saturday evening. Two people were stabbed, one in the torso and another with multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, while a third was hit in the head with a bottle. The chaos ensued just after 5 p.m. as the boat docked at the pier, leading to pushing and shoving among passengers.

Upon arrival, police found the three victims – a 32-year-old male with a stab wound to the torso, a 40-year-old man with multiple stab wounds, and a 28-year-old man who had a bottle smashed on his head. All three were taken to NYU Langone in stable condition by EMS. The boat was evacuated by police following the incident. Witnesses on board mentioned that the party was going smoothly until the situation escalated, with the fight breaking out towards the end of the event.

The Cornucopia Majesty, with a capacity of 1,200 passengers, is owned by Manhattan Yacht Charters, according to the company’s website. The cause of the brawl is currently unknown, as police have not identified any suspects in relation to the incident. The fight seemed to have erupted after the boat had already docked at the pier, possibly sparked by an argument among passengers. The scene was chaotic as emergency services attended to the victims, with one woman seen being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.

With the boat being a popular venue for events and parties, the incident has raised concerns about safety and security measures on such party boats. Investigations are ongoing to determine the events that led to the altercation and to identify those responsible for the stabbings and the bottle attack. The situation serves as a reminder of the potential risks and dangers that can arise in social gatherings, especially in high-energy environments such as party boats where large groups of people come together to celebrate. The aftermath of the brawl highlights the importance of maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all passengers on board such vessels to prevent future incidents from occurring.
