Tiffany Haddish recently opened up about her experiences with online bullying and how she has combated trolls on social media. She revealed that the hateful comments and death threats she received led her to hire a digital forensics analyst to investigate. The analyst found that 75% of the threats were coming from robots in Malaysia and Iran. Despite her successful comedy career, Haddish has faced backlash due to legal troubles, including two DUI charges and a lawsuit claiming she groomed a fellow comedian. The lawsuit was later dismissed, but the online hate towards Haddish persisted.

In an effort to combat the online hate, Haddish created a fake Instagram account under the alter ego “Sarah” to gather information about the trolls and confront them directly. She admitted to searching for people’s personal information, such as credit reports and police records, for just $1.99. Haddish revealed that she would sometimes even call the trolls directly to address their hurtful comments. She emphasized that although she tries to ignore the negativity, she is ultimately a human being who is affected by the hateful comments.

Despite the online bullying, Haddish has continued to focus on her acting career. She recently appeared in Disney’s “Haunted Mansion” and is set to star in Sony’s “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The fourth installment in the action franchise is scheduled to open in theaters on June 7. Haddish’s resilience in the face of online hate highlights her determination to overcome challenges and continue pursuing her goals in the entertainment industry. Through her experiences with trolls and legal troubles, Haddish has shown strength and perseverance in the face of adversity.
