Tickets for the Oasis Live ’25 Tour, featuring brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, go on pre-sale this Friday in the UK and Ireland ahead of a general sale on Saturday. The tour, set to begin next summer on July 4 in Wales, will include nearly 20 dates across the UK and Ireland, marking a highly anticipated reunion for the brothers who fronted the iconic British rock band Oasis. With Ticketmaster handling distribution, the demand for tickets is expected to be incredibly high.

Fans who received an email confirming access to the pre-sale will have the opportunity to purchase tickets, but Oasis warns that success in the ballot does not guarantee tickets as they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Those planning to participate in the general sale are encouraged to sign up with official ticket agents in advance, as high traffic is expected on the websites during the on-sale period. Additionally, only four tickets will be available to purchase per transaction.

The high demand for concert tickets, especially those distributed through Ticketmaster, can cause stress and anxiety for fans due to previous experiences such as the Taylor Swift ticketing debacle of 2022. Swift’s frustration with Ticketmaster and the cancellation of public sales for her shows prompted a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in 2023, which aimed to address the lack of competition in the ticketing industry and criticize Ticketmaster’s dominance.

In a move to challenge Ticketmaster’s control over ticket sales, the US recently filed an antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation, Ticketmaster’s parent company. With allegations of stifling competition, the lawsuit involves 30 state and district attorneys general seeking a jury trial and potentially the breakup of the company. Live Nation has denied the allegations, calling them baseless, but the legal process is expected to take several years to unfold.

Despite past ticketing issues, Ticketmaster made changes for Beyoncé’s tour last year that resulted in a smoother ticket purchasing process. However, with the Oasis Live ’25 Tour generating significant excitement and anticipated high demand, Ticketmaster will be under scrutiny to ensure a fair and efficient ticketing process for fans hoping to secure seats for the highly anticipated reunion concerts.
