Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has been in the limelight lately, much to the chagrin of Manhattan prosecutors. Despite their efforts to keep him away from the press, Cohen has capitalized on the media attention to earn millions of dollars since breaking ties with his former boss. His tell-all book, Disloyal, became an instant bestseller, bringing in around $2 million in just a few months. He then released another book, Revenge, which earned him approximately $400,000.

What sets Cohen apart is his savvy business deals surrounding the books. He did not receive an advance for either publication, opting instead for a nontraditional contract that allowed him to earn more than he would have with a standard deal. In addition to book sales, Cohen hosts a popular podcast called “Mea Culpa,” which garners around 300,000 weekly downloads. He also co-hosts “Political Beatdown” and has earned about $1 million from ads and merchandise on both shows.

Cohen has also joined TikTok, where he streams videos for a monthly subscription fee. He has built a community of around 309 subscribers, potentially earning him $22,000 a year. Additionally, Cohen offers personalized videos on Cameo for $100, increasing his visibility and potential earnings. Despite making no money from appearances on CNN, Cohen’s profile continues to grow, leading him to explore opportunities for further monetization.

Looking ahead, Cohen is considering writing a third book or starring in a TV show about his life, with the working title “Fixer.” He is also contemplating a run for Congress, which would allow him to stay in the limelight for years to come. With his knack for leveraging media attention into profitable ventures, Cohen shows no signs of slowing down in his quest for financial gain and continued notoriety.
